Nancy Dumont

Nancy J Dumont, 71 of Abilene, Texas passed away on January 10, 2026 at Merkel nursing Center.

Nancy was born in Levelland, Texas to Orville Truett and Annie Ruth (Riley) Burnett on May 21, 1954.  She went to school in Clyde, Texas.  She graduated from Clyde High School class of 1972. She married Donald Dumont November 19. 1984 in Abilene, Texas. She was enjoying retirement at the time of her passing.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; Orville Truett and Annie Ruth (Riley) Burnett and her brother Steve Burnett.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Donald Dumont; her loving and only daughter Rebecca Smith, and her fur baby Trudy and grandbaby PollyAnn.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated. Services are under the direction of West Central Texas Cremation.
