Karen Sue Horton

Karen Sue Horton, 64, passed away on May 31, 2026 in Abilene, Texas.

Karen was born to in Peru, Indiana to Lyle and Helen Horton on July 25, 1961.

Karen and David Cumming have been together since June 11, 1979. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids (who did no wrong) and her great grandkids.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Helen Horton, nephew Chad Horton, and great-niece Alivia Hawkins.

Karen is survived by David Cumming, three children: Wendy, Jaime, and Matthew, eight grandchildren: Kelsey, Kane, EJ, Kyle, Ashton, Brody, Madelyn and Conor, three great-grandchildren: Kylee (Riley), Bentley, and Sawyer, one brother Jeff Horton, four sisters: Sandy, Linda, Julie and Kim. Also, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
