With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Jennings—beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—on April 22, 2025, at the age of 70, in Sweetwater, Texas. Born on October 16, 1954, in Yuma, Arizona, Debbie devoted her life to her family and her faith, touching the hearts of all who knew her with her unshakeable love and kindness.

Debbie’s greatest joy was found in her role as a mother. A constant source of love, support, and strength to her four sons—Kyler, Casey, Jeremy, and Joshua—she embraced motherhood with unparalleled dedication. Her sacrifices were many, her love boundless, and her pride in her sons evident in every action. She was their greatest champion, her life’s purpose deeply woven into the nurturing of their spirits and the shaping of their futures.

Beyond her role as a mother, Debbie’s life was rich with passion and light. She found beauty in the small moments: a freshly brewed pot of coffee shared with her sons, the delicate simplicity of Willow Tree figurines, the vibrant colors of tulips and irises, and the joy of a quiet walk under the open sky. Once an avid runner, Debbie’s love for movement mirrored her approach to life—steady, intentional, and always in motion toward something better. Cats held a special place in her heart, as they so often reflected the gentle, nurturing spirit she freely gave.

Above all, Debbie’s heart overflowed with love for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. Each day began with an eager question about their well-being, and her joy was immeasurable whenever she saw their faces—whether in person, through a phone call, or captured in a photograph. She believed every moment with them was a treasure, and she loved them deeply, without reserve.

Debbie’s faith in God was the foundation of her life. A true servant at heart, she carried the message of Jesus wherever she went, her life a testament to His love and grace. Her gentle presence was a source of peace to those around her, offering comfort and solace during both joyful and difficult times. Through quiet moments and heartfelt conversations, often shared during long walks, Debbie's wisdom and unwavering belief in the goodness of God shone brightly.

Debbie’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and devotion, woven into the fabric of her family’s lives. She leaves behind her loving brother, Ron Washum, her sons and their families—Kyler Jennings (son) and Sarah Jennings (daughter-in-law), Casey Jennings (son) and Amber Coplan (daughter-in-law), Joshua Jennings (son) and Kati Jennings (daughter-in-law), and Jeremy Jennings (son). She was also the proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Kandis, Caley, Waylon, and Sailor, who will carry forward her legacy of love.

As we mourn her passing, we are comforted by the rich memories she leaves behind. Debbie’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire all of us as we move forward, keeping her light alive in our lives.
