Dallas (Cookie) Clifford Underwood, 76, of Hawley, Texas passed away on July 2, 2025 in the care of Hendrick Hospice of Abilene, Texas.
Dallas was born in Lueders, Texas to Dallas Gifford Underwood & Mattie Ruth Lemon on September 24, 1948. He married Vicki Charlene Lower on Feburary 18, 2007 in Hawley, Texas. He worked for WTU for 20+ years & also in the oil field, different companies until injured & became disabled.
Dallas (Cookie) was preceded in death by his parents Dallas & Mattie Underwood; brother Raymond Underwood: sisters: Reba Cheyne, Leverne Chisum, Bobbie Shott; and his son Michael Seigler.
Dallas (Cookie) is survived by his wife Vicki Charlene Underwood, children Steven Underwood & spouse Danny Jones, Pam & husband David Lofton, and Michele & husband Chris Mayes; grandchildren Emily Underwood Jones, Magan & Tyler Young, Tyler Lofton, Lance & Frankie Lofton, James Seiger, Samual Seigler, Zackary Seigler, Haylee Lopez, Michaela DeLeon, Nicholas Mayes, Brandon Mayes, and Brianna Mayes; and many great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 350 5th Street, Hawley, Texas 79525 with Terry Whilhite of First Babtist Church officiating.
