Brenda Crawford Becker, devoted wife and mother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 72.

Brenda lived a life defined by passion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people she loved.

Brenda graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1972. She went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Hardin-Simmons University and later completed her Master's Degree from Abilene Christian University. Brenda wore many hats in her working career moving from teaching to infectious disease control, and as an accountant, but her favorite was owning and operating Becker's Loft in downtown Abilene.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Crawford and Frankie Crawford Hall.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jim Becker, whom she met at church; their children Carmen Stenger and Adam Becker; their grandchildren Audrey,Wyatt, and Theo, who called Brenda "Ya Ya"; and her sister, Marsha Blackmon.

Brenda will be dearly missed by many lifelong friends. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire her friends and family.
